Mój najnowszy projekt dla Decoratorium, dość ciężki od metalowych elementów ;) Zainspirowałam się moodboardowym  wyzwaniem Mixed Media Place i choć moja praca wyszła nieco ciemniejsza niż planowałam, to wciąż łączy turkusowe odcienie z miedzią i złotymi metalicznymi akcentami.

My newest piece for Decoratorium is pretty heavy because it's full of metal elements ;) I got inspired by Mixed Media Place moodboard for May challenge and although my creation finally turned out to be more darker than I planned, it still combines the turquoise tones with copper and gold highlights.

Moja inspiracja dla Decoratorium :) Przy pomocy mediów DecoArt stworzyłam popękane tło, na którym zbudowałam warstwową kompozycję w moich ulubionych kolorach. Głównym bohaterem jest tutaj kombinacja primowej żarówki i skrzydeł :)

It's my inspiration for Decoratorium :) The crackled background I created with DecoArt media, turned out to be a base for a layered composition in my favourite colours. The focal point here is a combination of Prima lightbubble and the wings :)

Nowa wspólna droga

Dzisiaj coś dla UHK Gallery :) Wiecie, co uwielbiam w tych papierach? To, że można dowolnie miksować rozmaite papiery! I na przykład z połączenia kolekcji dziecięcej, morskiej, babciowej i walentynkowej powstała taka inspiracja - kartka ślubna w wędrowkowo-górskim klimacie :)

Today I have something created for UHK Gallery :) Do you know, what I love about these papers the most? Mixing them! Here is the example - I combined kids, naval, grandma and Valentine's style collections and created hiking-theme wedding card :)

 

 

Polowanie na wampiry / Vampire hunting

Nie ma co ukrywać - czasem w swoich pracach lubię pójść w bardziej mroczne klimaty. I cóż, tak się złożyło, że na blogu Decoratorium inspiruję kuferkiem łowcy wampirów :) Stworzyłam antywampirzy niezbędnik w skali mini - znajdziecie tutaj oprawioną w skórę Biblię, drewniany krzyż i ostry kołek, różne fiolki i srebrny łańcuch :)

I must admit - sometimes I really like to turn my designs into a bit dark creations. And well, it happened again and you can find my vampire hunting kit at Decoratorium blog :) I've created mini-scale anti-vampire must-have items - there's a leather-covered Bible, wooden cross and stake, some vials and silver chain :) 

Steampunk? Yes, please!

Na uhakowym blogu ruszyło właśnie wyzwanie z nowej serii, które polega na wykonaniu pracy z danej kolekcji papierów UHK w innym stylu niż dana kolekcja. Tym razem na warsztat wzięłyśmy - a jakże - Avonlea, a ja zrobiłam z niej steampunkowe coś :)

There is a new challenge series on UHK Gallery blog - the requirement is to create a project using only one, specific UHK Gallery collection and the style of the piece must be different from the papers style. This time we work with - what a surprise ;) - Avonlea, and I've prepared a steampunk "something" :)

Muzyczny blejtram / Musical canvas

Dzisiaj moja praca do muzycznego wyzwania Retro Kraft Shop. Piosenkę wraz z teledyskiem oraz zasady zabawy znajdziecie na sklepowym blogu - jest jeszcze czas, żeby się zgłosić! :) Poza samą muzyką, szczególnie zainspirowały mnie kolory teledysku oraz motyw telefonu, co chyba wyraźnie widać na moim blejtramie ;) Metalowe lampy i dziurka od klucza to elementy, które kojarzą mi się z ciemnym pomieszczeniem, w którym pokazano wokalistów. Do tego kilka warstw ciemnych Archivistowych papierów i trochę mediowania :)

Here is my interpretation of Retro Kraft Shop music challenge. Check the song, music video and all the rules on the RKS blog - there is still time to take part in our play! :) I was inspired not only by the music itself, but also by the colours of the video and the phone theme, which I think you can easily see on my canvas :) Metal lamps and the keyhole remind me of the dark room where the singers were shown. Plus a few layers of black Archivist papers and some media touch :)
